If you have never been to a BarCamp before, we would love you to come along to BarCamp Nigeria 2010! It’s great fun and we are always looking for new folks to attend – BarCamp is all about the people. This is the second edition of Barcamp Nigeria.

Last years event took place on the 25th of April 2009 @ Tom Associates Building, Anthony, Lagos. Yes i know you”ll be wondering why Lagos again this year, not to worry, we are planning on making Barcamp a quarterly thing, so our next venue locations will be outside Lagos.

Last year we had keynote speakers like Justin Hartman. He is the MD and co-founder of Afrigator - Africa’s largest social media aggregator and blog directory. He is based in South Africa. Afrigator is a startup he co-founded in April 2007. It grew steadily to a point where a stake was sold to MIH Print Africa. We also had Mrs. Victoria N’dee Uwadoka. She works with Microsoft Nigeria as the PR & Events Manager for Anglophone West Africa. She is charged with managing the company’s image agenda, media relationships, agency support and strategic events across the Anglophone West Africa region.
This year we have confirmed two keynote speakers and they are Simdul Shagaya, the Founder of Alarena.com and Chinenye Mba-Ozoukwo of eShekel.
The two speakers have firm grasp of the Nigerian technology market and will be pleased to share their insight with us at the event. To view a detailed profile of the speakers, click here
